Price per sq ft calculator
Divide the total price by the area to get the price per sq ft, and see it per gajam, cent, acre and more.
How it works
Price per sq ft = total price ÷ area in sq ft. If your area is in another unit, it is first converted to sq ft using its fixed size. Use it to compare two properties on the same basis.
How to use it
- Type the total price.
- Type the area and choose its unit.
- Read the price per sq ft, and per gajam, cent and acre.
Worked example
₹45,00,000 for 1,200 sq ft is ₹3,750 per sq ft. The same property is ₹33,750 per gajam, because a gajam is 9 sq ft.
Common mistakes
- Comparing a carpet-area price with a super built-up price. They are not the same basis.
- Leaving out parking, club or other charges that are part of the price you pay.
- Entering the area in one unit and the unit box in another. Check the unit.
